Join us on this excursion to the Algarve from Lisbon as we uncover the stunning beaches of southern Portugal, journey to Ponta da Piedade, and explore the famous Benagil Caves along with other natural attractions!

Discover the Breathtaking Southern Coast

We will gather at Praça Marquês de Pombal at the designated time, embarking on a journey towards southern Portugal, the realm of the renowned golden shores of the Algarve.

After a scenic drive lasting approximately two and a half hours, we will reach Lagos, where the remarkable rock formations of Ponta da Piedade await. This extraordinary natural site will leave you mesmerized, as it appears almost otherworldly! Here, enjoy some time to soak in the views and perhaps take a boat ride through the caves before we proceed with our itinerary.

Our next destination is Praia do Camilo, nestled amid towering cliffs, recognized as one of the most stunning beaches on the planet. We will then continue to Portimao, where you will have an additional two hours to bask in the sun and swim at Praia da Rocha, known for its immaculate sands.

The much-anticipated visit to the Benagil Caves follows. A globally renowned natural wonder, this unique rock formation is sure to astonish. Here, you can choose to embark on a boat or kayak tour to experience the cave up close. Take advantage of your time in Benagil to savor the local seafood, predominantly featuring fresh fish sourced from the nearby waters.

Our final destination is Albufeira, a historic landing site for Amazigh forces in 700 AD along the Portuguese coastline. We’ll visit the stunning Praia da Marinha, acclaimed as one of the loveliest beaches in Portugal, allowing you to appreciate its breathtaking limestone cliffs and natural arches.

Eventually, we will make our way back to Lisbon, arriving at our starting point approximately 12 hours after we first departed.
