Activity Overview
Your experience begins early in the morning with a hotel pickup in Luxor, as darkness lingers and the day is just awakening. During the journey to the launch site, you can enjoy a selection of tea, coffee, and some light breakfast to prepare for the adventure ahead.
Once at the site, you will settle into the gondola and embark on a breathtaking ride over the temples of Luxor, synchronized with the sunrise. Throughout the 50-minute flight, witness the sun illuminating the ancient ruins in brilliant hues of orange and crimson, beautifully reflected on the River Nile.
Gaze down upon the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Nobles, and catch a glimpse of the grand Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, renowned for its remarkable size and harmonious presence within the surrounding landscape. This rock-carved temple complex is rightfully recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Following your flight, you will receive a flight certificate commemorating this memorable morning. Afterward, transportation will be provided to return you to your hotel in Luxor.
Pickup Details
The service includes hotel or boat pickup and drop-off for guests located on the east bank (right bank) of the Nile River. Should your accommodation be outside this specified area, an alternative meeting point on the east bank will be arranged. You will be taken back to the same location after the experience.

It is advisable to book your hot air balloon flight early in your trip. This ensures that in case of any weather-related cancellations, you have the option to reschedule for a later date.

The local tour operator will get in touch with you the day before the tour to confirm your exact hotel pickup time, as the time on this voucher is just an estimate. On the day of the activity, please be ready to go a few minutes before the scheduled pickup time. The guide will be holding a sign with the Civitatis logo and your name on it.
Please note that the Luxor hotel/boat pickup and drop–off services are included in this activity for those staying on the east bank (right side) of the Nile River. If your hotel or boat in Luxor is outside this designated area, we'll arrange a meeting point on the east bank. On return, you'll be dropped off at the same location as when you were picked up.
Important
This activity depends on the local authorities and the weather, so it's possible that the departure cannot be at dawn if these factors don't allow it.
