Description

At your selected time, we will gather next to the bronze donkey sculpture, conveniently located near the Tourist Information Center, to commence our complimentary exploration of Mijas. Here, you'll encounter the well-known donkey taxis of Mijas, a distinctive mode of transport that has become a defining feature of the town.

Our first stop will be the hermitage of the Virgin de la Peña. After paying our respects to Mijas' patron saint, we will wander through the charming whitewashed alleys, adorned with vibrant flowers, en route to the captivating Museum House of the old town hall.

Next, we will proceed to San Sebastian Street, a quintessential highlight during any visit to Mijas. Located within La Muralla park, this vantage point offers breathtaking views of the Costa del Sol, providing an excellent opportunity for capturing stunning photographs.

Our journey will eventually lead us to the picturesque church of the Immaculate Conception, which stands on the site of the former mosque of Mijas. We will conclude our tour by returning to our original meeting point after slightly over an hour.
