Activity Overview

We will gather at the Minca bridge at the designated time. As the forest stirs and the morning light begins to reveal the majestic Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, our exploration will commence. Let’s embark on this adventure!

We’ll embark on an ecological hike lasting around 3 hours, navigating through lush pathways. During this trek of approximately 3.5 kilometers (2.2 miles), we’ll pay close attention to the chirping of birds high among the treetops.

Are you aware that this location is home to over 600 recorded bird species? A significant number of these species are unique to this region, establishing Minca as a prime spot for birdwatching. Prepare to be astonished by the biodiversity that thrives in this part of Colombia!
