Munich Christmas Markets Food Tour

For those venturing to Munich in December, the renowned Christmas markets await, offering an authentic seasonal ambiance. This guided excursion will lead you through the vibrant markets, allowing for delightful food stops where you can uncover Munich's finest holiday delicacies.

Tour Overview

Our gathering point will be the vicinity of the Munich Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof) at the scheduled time, from where we'll commence our Christmas Market Food Tour. To start the journey, we will savor the taste of some delightful gingerbread paired with a warming glass of mulled wine.

During the exploration of Munich's top Christmas markets, we will make a total of 4 food stops and 2 stops dedicated to festive beverages. Participants will indulge in seasonal treats like sugared almonds, roasted chestnuts, and the exceptional Feuerzangenbowle, a classic festive drink that is sure to impress.

Our first destination is Marienplatz, the city's main square, where one of Munich's most significant Christmas markets comes to life during the holiday season.

Next, we will head to the Christmas Village located in the courtyard of the Kaiserhof der Residenz. Here, you’ll be surrounded by charming wooden stalls that contribute to an unmatched festive vibe. Additionally, we'll include a stop at the Kripperlmarkt Manger Market, an enchanting locale featuring a variety of exquisite nativity figures and scenes.

To conclude our festive journey, we will visit the Mittelaltermarkt Munchen, Munich’s immersive medieval Christmas market. This enchanting market replicates an authentic German medieval experience, showcasing Renaissance performers and vendors adorned in period costumes.
