Hotel Pickup

If you've selected hotel pickup, the local tour company will get in touch a few hours before to confirm your exact pickup time and meeting point. Please note that if your accommodation is not accessible to large vehicles such as a bus, an alternative meeting point as close to your hotel as possible will be provided. To coordinate your pickup in advance, you can call the following number: +39 081 2488315, available Monday to Friday until 8:30 pm.

Pickup at the Port or Train Station

In this case, the times and meeting points are as follows:

• The meeting time for cruises is at 9:45 am in the port, outside the Terminal Passageri of the Stazione Maritima (Molo Angioino): https://maps.app.goo.gl/BgEyHRVniTdtZNJh8
• Pickup at the train station is at 10:20 am outside the station, in front of the entrance to the STAR Hotel Terminus: https://maps.app.goo.gl/au7haM1cH1bPszYDA

We recommend arriving 10 minutes in advance.

Climbing Mount Vesuvius

• Climbing Mount Vesuvius is done by foot, and the summit is at an altitude of 1,000 metres. It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes, clothing, and to bring water.
• Anybody with limited mobility, or who does not want to climb to the summit, can wait for the group at the rest point, at the foot of the volcano.
• Although it is unusual, for meteorological reasons the crater is sometimes closed. Should this be the case, the tour makes a stop at a viewpoint to take photos, and we will refund the tickets to the crater (11.68EUR per person).
