We'll convene at Oeiras Marina at a time that suits you, ready to embark on a kayak journey along the Lisbon coastline. Are you prepared to embrace a day of paddling?

As we gather, a short briefing will cover the essentials: how to navigate your kayak, fundamental paddling techniques, and vital safety precautions. Following this overview, you'll be provided with life jackets to ensure your safety. Once everyone is equipped, we'll board the kayaks and begin our adventure along Lisbon's shimmering coast!

Along our route, you'll encounter historic coastal fortifications, gleaming waters, and awe-inspiring views. Departing from the marina in Oeiras, situated at the western fringe of the Lisbon metropolitan area, we will paddle towards the most renowned beaches in the Portuguese capital. Be captivated by Praia de Carcavelos, celebrated as the largest and one of the most picturesque sandy shorelines along the Estoril coast.

During our kayaking excursion, we'll also explore the remarkable fortresses that guard the coastline, including São Julião da Barra Fort, Fort of São João das Maias, and Santa Amaro do Areeiro Fort. We'll venture to Praia das Fontainhas, a hidden gem where you can take a refreshing dip in its clear waters.

After a fulfilling 2-hour kayak journey along the Lisbon coast, we’ll return to our starting point in Oeiras.
