Activity Overview
The Parnaíba Delta represents one of the most intriguing ecosystems in Brazil and beyond. If you're eager to explore this unique habitat, we'll arrange for your pickup from your hotel to commence an exciting boat journey through its most captivating locations.
Once all participants are on board, we will set off from the harbor, maneuvering through the waters of this vast and beautiful delta. This estuary, which serves as a natural boundary between the states of Piauí and Maranhão, consists of a network of islands, rivers, and channels that create an extraordinary vista.
While navigating these intricate waterways, you'll gain insights into the area's remarkable biodiversity. The mangroves and golden sand dunes provide a habitat for a variety of wildlife, including herons, scarlet ibises, capybaras, and even caimans.
During our expedition, we will pause at Ilha dos Poldros, where you can unwind on its tranquil beach. Following this, we'll reboard the boat to proceed to Caída do Morro, celebrated as one of the most stunning dunes within the Parnaíba Delta. Here, you'll have the chance to traverse the dune and soak in the breathtaking scenery.
To enrich your experience, a tasty meal featuring traditional crab will be provided on board, ideal for rejuvenating your energy.
In conclusion, we will navigate back to our initial spot, with the tour culminating in a return to your hotel approximately 7.5 hours after the initial pickup.
