Tour Overview

We will gather at 6 Via della Repubblica near the caravan parking area at the designated time, kicking off our guided experience in Panicale. Are you excited to see why it's hailed as one of the most stunning villages in Umbria? Let’s embark on this journey!

This enchanting village is often described as a natural terrace with views of Lake Trasimeno, having maintained its medieval structure characterized by concentric pathways. Our exploration will take us to its three primary squares: Piazza Umberto I, Piazza San Michele Arcangelo, and the charming Piazza Masolino.

Wander through its narrow alleys that exude timelessness, leading us to the Collegiate Church of San Michele Arcangelo and the majestic Palazzo del Podestà. Along the way, we’ll delve into both its rich history and contemporary art, seeking out the sculptures by Davide Rivalta that embellish the village.

The journey continues past the Museo del Tulle, as well as the Church of Sbarra and the Church of San Sebastiano. A highlight of our tour will include a stop at a panoramic viewpoint, where we’ll take a moment to absorb the stunning vistas of Montalera Castle and the striking blue hues of Lake Trasimeno, spotting its three islands: Maggiore, Minore, and Polvese.
