Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in Punta Sal at 6:30 am, leading us to the port. There, a boat will be prepared for our adventure on the Pacific Ocean, where we'll search for cetacean life. Are you excited to embark on this expedition? Let’s set sail!

As we explore the waters off Punta Sal, you’ll have the chance to observe bottlenose dolphins and the magnificent humpback whales, which are among the largest cetaceans known to man. Fascinatingly, these whales can reach weights of up to 79,366 lbs (36,000 kg) and grow as long as 52.5 ft (16 meters). Quite impressive, right?

These magnificent creatures visit the Peruvian coastline primarily to breed during the summer months. It is common to see them swimming alone, in groups, or accompanying their young. Additionally, the rich marine ecosystem here may present opportunities to spot sea lions, sea turtles, or avian species like the blue-footed booby and the earwig!

After an exciting 3-hour whale-watching expedition, we will navigate back to the pier and provide transport back to your hotel.
