Ice Climbing Experience in Korouoma Canyon

Your adventure begins with a timely pickup at your Pyhä hotel, followed by a journey towards the Posio Nature Reserve, renowned for hosting some of Finland's most stunning ice falls.

After a scenic drive lasting two and a half hours, our first stop will be the Korouoma valley, where you'll encounter ancient rock fractures formed millions of years ago. We will navigate through the snow to reach the canyon base, where your guide will provide an overview and assist you in donning your climbing gear.

Secured in harnesses, we will start our ascent up the Korouoma Canyon, climbing the magnificent frozen formations as the ground gradually recedes below us. Upon reaching the summit, panoramic views of the breathtaking white landscapes of Lapland will reward your efforts. To recharge, a delightful barbecue awaits you before we begin our descent.

Once revitalized, we will hike back to the entrance of the reserve and commence our return drive to Pyhä. The journey concludes with a drop-off at your hotel approximately 11 hours after it began.
