Tour Description
We will gather at the Rabo de Peixe port at the designated departure time, ready to set sail north of São Miguel. Let's get aboard!
During the initial segment of our voyage, we will glide past two of the premier surfing destinations in the Azores: Santa Bárbara and Monteverde beaches. Their alluring landscapes, unique volcanic sand, and remarkable waves are sure to leave you in awe.
As we progress, we will approach Ribeira Grande, a significant town on the island. Here, you'll witness the tea, tobacco, and sugar cane fields of São Miguel. If fortune smiles upon us and conditions permit, an invigorating swim in the pristine waters may also await.
Continuing our adventure, we will head towards the Ribeirinha lighthouse. This leg of the journey will take us through spectacular caves formed by volcanic activity and allow us to explore the historic port of Santa Iria. We will also glide past Praia dos Moinhos beach, a perfect spot for a swim and to soak in a tranquil ambiance.
In conclusion, we will navigate back to our original departure point in Rabo de Peixe, bringing our three-hour journey to a close.
