Rimini Guided Tour
Descrizione
Embark on a guided exploration of Rimini, where you can immerse yourself in the city's captivating history and remarkable Roman legacy as you walk alongside its iconic landmarks. This experience is one you won't want to miss!
Tour Details
Your journey begins at the agreed meeting point, located at Corso d'Augusto, 152, conveniently near the Visitor Center.
Our adventure kicks off with a visit to the historic Roman Ponte di Tiberio. Following this, we'll make our way to Piazza Cavour, where you can take in the magnificent facades of the Palazzo dell'Arengo, the Palazzo del Podestà, and the Palazzo Garampi.
Next on the itinerary is the Old Fish Market of Rimini, a structure that traces its origins back to the mid-18th century. We’ll then proceed to Piazza dei Sogni, home to Castel Sismondo, a medieval defensive stronghold that now hosts the Fellini Museum.
Continuing onward, we’ll traverse Piazza Tre Martiri, the former location of the ancient Roman forum. Legend has it that this was the spot where Julius Caesar famously declared "Alea iacta est" (“The die is cast”), marking the pivotal moment of crossing the Rubicon.
As our tour progresses, we will visit the Tempio Malatestiano, the most significant Catholic church in the city, appreciating its exterior. Finally, we will conclude our journey by passing through the Arch of Augustus, the grand entrance to Rimini.
After enjoying a comprehensive and engaging 1-hour and 45-minute guided tour of Rimini, the activity will come to a close.
