Our journey departs from the heart of Salta at 9:30 am, following the RN68 route as we travel southward through the stunning Lerma Valley.

As we proceed, we will traverse charming towns such as Cerrillos, La Merced, El Carril, and Coronel Moldes. We then veer off from the RN68 onto a different path that leads straight to the remarkable Cabra Corral reservoir, which is celebrated for its impressive dam.

You will have approximately one hour of leisure time to sip a drink and admire the breathtaking scenery of this massive water body, set against a picturesque backdrop. Interestingly, this reservoir ranks as the second largest in Argentina, with the Pasaje, Juramento, and Salado rivers converging to produce a significant amount of hydroelectric power for several provinces in the northwest.

Constructed between 1966 and 1972, this remarkable piece of engineering boasts a height of 305 feet, and its capacity is so vast that it could fill numerous Olympic-sized swimming pools!

Following your time appreciating the stunning views at Cabra Corral, we will make our way back to the center of Salta, with an expected arrival around 2 pm.
