Day Trip Details

The journey kicks off at El último Trolley beach in San Juan. Following a brief orientation, we will board our transport and set off towards Vega Baja. Let’s begin the adventure!

After about an hour on the road, we will reach a private area at the entrance of the Charco Azul canyon, opening the door to one of Puerto Rico's hidden natural treasures. Prepare for the unexpected as we encounter two spectacular caves, shaped by nature’s forces over centuries.

Once inside the Charco Azul caves, we will come across ancient Taino petroglyphs adorning the walls. What stories do these carvings tell us? What is their historical significance? We will explore these intriguing questions together!

If fortune smiles upon us, we may observe local wildlife, including bats and lizards, that thrive in this remarkable habitat.

After our exploration, take a refreshing dip in the natural pools found within this scenic location.
