The Cape Verde archipelago is renowned for its breathtaking marine life. Experience it firsthand with a beginner-friendly scuba diving day trip on Sal Island.

Activity Overview

Your adventure begins with a pick-up at your hotel on Sal Island, from where we will proceed to the dive center featuring an outdoor training pool. After donning your wetsuit along with fins, mouthpieces, tanks, and masks, an hour-long introductory session will allow you to grasp the fundamentals of scuba diving.

To ensure you are energized for this underwater excursion, we will return you to your hotel, providing you with two hours to enjoy a hearty meal and recharge. In the afternoon, we will return to pick you up and head to the pier.

Once equipped with the necessary scuba gear and ensuring everything is securely fastened, we will proceed to the coast where we will aim to observe a variety of marine species. Cape Verde stands out as one of the top diving locations in the Atlantic Ocean. Upon arrival at the beach, we will dive for about an hour at varying depths, tailored to the group's experience level, with a maximum of 12 feet.

This introductory diving activity grants you the opportunity to explore the vibrant underwater ecosystem surrounding Sal Island. Expect to see coral formations, turtles, manta rays, and various exotic fish. Witnessing these magnificent creatures up close is undeniably a memorable experience that will linger in your mind.

After concluding the dive, we will return to the pier where our journey began, and then proceed back to your hotel. The entire experience will last approximately 3 hours for those choosing the morning session or around 2.5 hours in the afternoon.
