Prepare for an exciting adventure! At 6:30 am, we’ll collect you from your hotel in Santa Marta to commence our journey to Barranquilla, located approximately two hours from your starting point. Can you guess which global icon hails from this city?

Upon arrival, we will explore the charming El Prado neighbourhood, which is noteworthy for being the pioneer of modern urban planning concepts, showcasing its stunning architecture. A highlight will be our stop to admire the façade of the Amira de la Rosa Theatre, a tribute to the lyricist of the local anthem.

Our next highlight will bring us to Plaza de la Aduana, the entrance to the heart of the city. We will meander through quaint streets, taking in the impressive exterior of the Metropolitan Cathedral as well as the renowned Museum of the Caribbean.

Next, we will arrive at the Cumbiódromo, a vibrant gathering place where community members and guests unite annually for the much-anticipated Carnival of Barranquilla. This festival is hailed as the pinnacle of folkloric celebrations in Colombia.

After an extraordinary day filled with discoveries, we will return to Santa Marta, dropping you off at your hotel around 2:30 pm as we bid you farewell.
