Scalea Coast Boat Tour

Explore Calabria’s stunning coast on a boat trip from Scalea! Discover islands, grottoes, and hidden coves along the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Tour Details

We will meet at your selected location and proceed to the pier where the boat awaits. The scenic cruise will begin along the coastline of Scalea. Our first destination is Dino Island, sailing past the Blue Grotto renowned for its crystal-clear waters.

Next, we will visit the Lion's Grotto and circle around the island’s western promontory, exploring hidden coves and sea caves, including Monk’s Grotto.

The tour continues along the San Nicola Arcella coast, featuring Arcomagno, a natural stone arch, and the historic Crawford Tower. Other highlights include Zuongolo Bay, Ear of Francidormo, Punta Dino, and Carpino Bay.

Finally, we’ll anchor for a 45-minute stop in Saracen Bay for swimming or relaxation. After between 2 and 4 hours of exploring Calabria’s coastline, we will return to the starting point.

Upon reservation, you can choose your starting point:

• Scalea: Lido il Tramonto, Via Attilio Pepe, 87029, Scalea, Italy.
• Diamante: Diamante train station.

The tour from Diamante includes a roundtrip ticket to Scalea and shuttle bus transportation. After booking, we will provide the train departure time. The tour from Scalea lasts 2 hours as it does not include any transport.
