When reserving your Seattle boat tour, you can select either a tour of the port or a tour of the locks. In both selections, an English-speaking guide will accompany you to provide insights about the landmarks visible from the boat.

Seattle Port Boat Tour (1 Hour)

At the scheduled time, we will depart from Pier 55 to embark on this delightful port exploration.

During the journey, you will uncover the rich history of one of the largest maritime terminals on the West Coast of the United States, situated by Elliott Bay.

As you navigate the waters, you will be treated to views of some of Seattle's most iconic landmarks, including the impressive Space Needle, the Smith Tower, and the Olympic Sculpture Park.

Add to this experience, the distant vistas of the Cascade Range, Olympic National Park, and Mount Rainier as we cruise along the port.

After a pleasant hour on the water, we will return to the starting pier to conclude this leg of the journey.

Ballard Locks Boat Tour (2 Hours)

This option allows you to choose from two starting locations:

• Pier 54, which is situated in the Seattle port, along the shores of Elliott Bay.
• AGC Marina, located adjacent to Lake Union.

Keep in mind that if you begin your adventure from Pier 54, your ride will conclude at the AGC Marina, and vice versa, as we follow a circular route. You can easily access both locations on foot, via taxi, or on the Seattle sightseeing bus, although this service is not included in the boat tour price.

The itinerary for both tour options is as follows:

At the appointed time, we will depart from the selected pier, heading towards the Ballard Locks. This impressive lock system, named after the engineer Hiram M. Chittenden, serves to connect Puget Sound with Lake Washington.

Due to the differing water levels between the sound and the lake, the locks function to raise and lower boats, effectively operating like elevators for vessels in real-time.

The boat tour will conclude at Pier 54 (if your journey began at AGC Marina) or at the AGC Marina (if you launched from Pier 54).
