The Aquarium of Seville offers an excellent activity for a family outing. Drawing inspiration from Magellan's historic voyage that began in Seville during the 16th century, the facility features 35 tanks filled with both fresh and saltwater specimens, showcasing a remarkable array of flora and fauna. Here, you can observe more than 7,000 unique marine organisms!
You will also traverse various ecosystems found across the globe. Journey through the Guadalquivir River, delve into the tropical rainforest, and venture into the Indo-Pacific, all without exiting the city. Enjoy a delightful experience getting acquainted with the incredible species that thrive in our waters!
Among the standout exhibits in the aquarium is the impressive nine-meter deep shark tank, known as the Oceanario, which ranks among the largest shark displays in Europe! This adds yet another incentive to visit this remarkable venue where visitors of all ages can expand their knowledge.

- September to June: Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm; Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm.
- July and August: Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm; Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm.
- 24th and 31st December and 5th January: 10 am to 4 pm.
- 25th December and 1st and 6th January: 12 pm to 6 pm.

The time it takes to tour the entire aquarium is approximately an hour and a half, but you can stay in the aquarium for as long as you want.
