Options for Activities

Upon booking, you can select from the following experiences, all commencing and concluding in front of Shanghai Fuxing Senior High School. Each option provides bike rentals, helmets, and the guidance of a fluent English-speaking expert.

Below are the distinct choices available:

4-Hour Day Tour

Beginning our journey on the bikes, we’ll navigate through the intricate backstreets of Shanghai, observing the fascinating interplay between history and modern culture. Our route will highlight the Shikumen architectural style, characterized by a distinctive mix of traditional Chinese elements and European influences. We will pass notable structures that now host cafés, restaurants, and shops.

Following this portion of the tour, we’ll break for a snack to regain our energy. Afterward, we will explore Lu Xun Park in the Hongkou area, where locals can be seen flying kites, picnicking, or simply enjoying leisurely strolls.

Our next stop will be the serene Yu Garden, a place of tranquility dating back to the Ming Dynasty. Its proximity to the City God Temple marks it as one of the city’s oldest gardens.

4-Hour Night Tour

In this evening option, we’ll commence the ride as the sunset hues illuminate the horizon. Our first destination will be the historic Shanghai French Concession. Here, we'll delve into this quaint neighborhood, replete with 19th-century French influences, passing by art deco structures and picturesque villas nestled among lush trees.

Next, we’ll pedal over to Xintiandi, a lively district where traditional Shikumen architecture has been revitalized. This vibrant spot boasts numerous restaurants, cafés, bookshops, and townhouses. We'll take a moment for a refreshing post-ride snack.

Afterward, we'll make our way to Nanjing Street, recognized as the world's busiest shopping street. Here, you’ll experience the bustling atmosphere surrounded by neon-lit storefronts. Our route will conclude at the British Concession and we’ll glide along the Bund, ultimately arriving at the stunning People's Square.

8-Hour Tour

This comprehensive tour is perfect for those wanting to fully immerse themselves in the essence of Shanghai. We’ll kick off with a visit to the Bund, where spectacular views of the Huangpu River and iconic skyscrapers await. We’ll then proceed to People's Square, a locale where historical narratives blend with contemporary life.

Our exploration will continue through Duolon Road, celebrated for its Republican-era buildings and the celebrated literary figures who called it home. We will meander through the French Concession, enchantingly adorned with elegant avenues and canopied trees. Our path will also lead us towards the Japanese Concession, passing through Lu Xun Park.

If hunger strikes, we’ll enjoy a delightful lunch at one of the city's most picturesque locations. Energized, we will resume cycling and stumble upon an antiques market, teeming with unique finds in a traditional setting.

We’ll navigate through the lively Nanjing Street, heading towards the Hongkou Football Stadium and passing by Xintiandi to ensure all of Shanghai's wonders are explored!

Our tour will also take us by the Shanghai Postal Museum and the historical Waibaidu Bridge, often referred to as the Garden Bridge.

To conclude, we’ll arrive at the site of the First National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party, a significant historical location in the narrative of China.
