Suzhou Private Day Trip
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Shanghai and travel to Suzhou, situated 100km (6.2 miles) west of Shanghai.
Upon arrival, our first stop will be one of its magnificent gardens. You can choose to visit either the Lion Grove Garden, known for its stone labyrinth, or the Humble Administrator’s Garden, which many consider the most beautiful garden in southern China. Both are UNESCO World Heritage Sites established over five hundred years ago.
Next, enjoy a small riverboat ride along the city’s canals and take in the lush surroundings.
After the cruise, we will head to Suzhou’s main shopping street, Guanqian Jie, for lunch.
In the afternoon, participate in a walking tour along Shan Tang Jie Street, the most charming avenue in Suzhou. Visit a silk factory and explore Tiger Hill, featuring a leaning pagoda built in 959.
The tour concludes after 7-8 hours with a return to your hotel in Shanghai, or we can drop you off at another location in the city (Xintiandi, Nanjing Road, etc.).
