Excursion to Priene, Miletus & Didyma

Your adventure begins promptly at 8 am when we will pick you up from your accommodation in Izmir. Without delay, we will set off towards our first stop: Priene.

Turkey is home to numerous archaeological treasures, and Priene is one of them. Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to wander through the remnants of this historic Hellenistic city and admire its remarkable Greek theater.

Afterward, we will make our way to the ancient city of Miletus, located just a short distance away. Here, you can explore the extensive ruins, including the vast amphitheater, a Byzantine fortress, and the Roman baths. Be prepared to capture countless photographs!

Our journey continues as we visit the remnants of Didyma, also referred to as Didymaion. Here, you will immerse yourself in the region's rich history by exploring the renowned Temple of Apollo and uncovering the myths surrounding the deities.

Following our exploration, we will head to a local eatery for a delightful lunch. The meal will be served buffet style, offering a diverse selection of traditional dishes from the region.

As the tour concludes, we will escort you back to your hotel in Izmir, with an expected return time around 5 pm.
