Tokyo Guided Tour
Descrizione
Experience the harmonious blend of tradition and modernity through a guided journey of Tokyo's essential landmarks. From peaceful Shinto shrines to bustling neon streets, immerse yourself in the city's historical beauty alongside its vibrant contemporary life.
Tour Overview
Our adventure begins at Tokyo Station, specifically at the Marunouchi Exit, where we'll convene at the agreed hour. A short walk will take us to our initial destination: the Imperial Palace.
As we enter the serene realm of the Imperial Palace, the official residence of Japan's Emperor and the historic site of Edo Castle, you'll be captivated by the meticulously preserved East Garden. Marvel at the exquisite stone walls, moats, and ancient gates that echo the rich samurai legacy. We will also take in the striking view of the Nijubashi Bridge, a photogenic landmark that offers stunning vistas of the palace grounds.
Following our time at the palace, we will leave the urban landscape behind and board a train for a quick 25-minute journey to the vibrant area of Harajuku. Upon arrival, we will visit the serene Meiji Shrine. Nestled within a man-made forest of over 100,000 trees, this revered site honors Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. As we pass through the grand wooden torii gate, we'll enjoy a peaceful walk along shaded trails, soaking in the serene ambiance of this spiritual sanctuary in the middle of Tokyo.
Afterwards, we will take some time to delve into Harajuku, known as the hub of youth culture and Japanese street fashion. We’ll stroll down the bustling Takeshita Street, filled with unique shops, colorful confectioneries, and the latest fashion trends.
Next, we’ll board a train for a brief 20-minute ride to Shibuya, home to one of the world's iconic sights: the Shibuya Scramble Crossing. Witness the astonishing sight of waves of pedestrians crossing from all directions as the traffic lights change. Capture this quintessential Tokyo experience, and feel free to snap some photos from nearby vantage points that overlook the dynamic scene below.
Finally, after four hours of exploration, our tour will conclude in the vibrant area of Shibuya.
