Before diving into practical sessions to achieve certification, participants must first complete the theoretical portion, designed to impart essential underwater skills.

When reserving your spot, you have the option to either complete the theory online at your leisure, or attend in-person sessions at the dive center, should your schedule allow.

Day 1: Confined Water Practice

On the inaugural day, we will collect you from your hotel in Trincomalee at 8:30 am and transport you to the dive center.

Upon arrival, a brief review of the theoretical content will take place. Following this, we will transition to a confined water area for your initial practical training. During this session, you will master essential techniques, including equipment management, underwater orientation, and achieving buoyancy, among others.

Days 2 and 3: Open Water Exploration

The second and third days are dedicated to applying your acquired knowledge in real underwater scenarios.

Throughout these two days, you will undertake a total of four dives in open water, allowing you to showcase your diving abilities. Upon successful completion of all required exercises, you will earn the esteemed PADI Open Water Diver certificate.

Duration

The course is typically conducted over three days. Nevertheless, if you have additional time in Trincomalee and prefer to attend the theory classes on-site, or if you require more days to finalize the practical components, the entire program can extend up to a maximum of five days.

This experience includes pickup services from hotels within Trincomalee. For those not staying in this locale, please arrange your own transport to Ward No. 1, 9th Mile Post.
