At the specified time, we will pick you up from your accommodation in Ushuaia and proceed towards one of the iconic trekking paths in Tierra del Fuego, leading to Lake Esmeralda. Adventure seekers, let’s set out!

Upon reaching our destination, we will prepare our backpacks with all the essential gear for packrafting and embark on a hike along the breathtaking trail surrounding Lake Esmeralda.

As we trek, you will be greeted by panoramic views of the Andes mountains, perfect for capturing the beauty of the glacial scenery. The experience is sure to enchant you! Continuing along the riverbanks, keep an eye out for beavers and various native plant species.

After roughly 2 hours of hiking, we will arrive at Lake Esmeralda. Are you set to embark on your packrafting adventure? We will launch our inflatable kayaks and glide onto the emerald waters of the lake.

Replenish your energy with a picnic-style lunch, featuring a sandwich, a granola bar, a local sweet, and fresh fruit. Following this, we will retrace our steps back to the minibus before returning to Ushuaia.

In the end, we will deliver you back to your hotel after a fulfilling total of 7 hours.

Requirements

It is important to note that participants should be in good physical shape to engage in this activity, as the trek involves covering a distance of 9 km (5.6 miles) while carrying an 8 kg (17.6 pounds) rucksack.
