Your adventure begins at 10 am with a pickup from your hotel, bus station, or airport to set off on a private tour of the Uyuni Salt Flat.

As we travel toward this iconic salt flat, we'll pause at several intriguing sites, including the train cemetery, an abandoned relic from the 19th century. Our journey will also take us through the town of Colchani, renowned for its salt production facilities.

Upon arrival at this breathtaking salt flat, recognized as the largest of its kind globally, you'll be treated to an extraordinary landscape. During the rainy season, the flat transforms into a stunning mirror, perfectly reflecting the sky above.

You will walk amongst the unique salt formations and geometric patterns created on the flat's surface, and observe the intriguing "eyes of the salt flat", which are natural pools of groundwater. Additionally, you'll have the chance to visit the famous Playa Blanca salt hotel.

After enjoying a picnic lunch, we’ll venture to Isla Incahuasi, a rocky formation in the heart of the salt flat where you can find countless cacti, some towering over 12 meters! This enchanting landscape is truly unforgettable.

As the day draws to a close, prepare to be mesmerized by a stunning sunset over the salt flat — a fitting finale to your day! We will then return to the starting point, expected to arrive by 7 pm.

Uyuni Salt Flat + Tunupa Volcano (11 hours)

For an enriched experience, consider including a visit to the Tunupa Volcano. In this case, we will depart at 8 am. Following our time at Isla Incahuasi, we will proceed to the northern section of the salt flat, where you can take in the view from the volcano's summit at an impressive elevation of 5,432 meters.

We'll also explore a cave at the base of the volcano, home to the mummies of Coqueza, which have been remarkably preserved for over 500 years. To conclude this segment, we will enter the subaquatic cave of Chiquini, culminating with a spectacular sunset view over this captivating landscape.
