Haus der Musik Admission

Located on Seilerstätte street, right in the center of Vienna's historic district, the Haus der Musik stands as Austria's first museum dedicated exclusively to the realms of music and sound. This multifaceted museum consists of four distinct floors, and your ticket grants you unrestricted access to each level. Upon arrival at the first floor, delve into the fascinating world of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, where you'll encounter significant musical scores performed by this illustrious ensemble.

Ascending to the next level, you will transform into a musical adventurer within the Sonosphere. Here, embark on a sonic journey  exploring the fundamentals of sound and how we as humans perceive them, among other engaging topics.

The third floor invites you to uncover the intricacies of classical music alongside the legacies of great composers like Mozart and Beethoven . You’ll even have the chance to experience the role of an orchestra conductor!

Visiting Hours

The Haus der Musik welcomes visitors daily, from 10 am until 10 pm, with the last entry at 9 pm. Note that on specific dates, the museum operates under the following hours:

• March 28 and 29: Open from 10 am to 5 pm, with final admission at 4 pm
• December 24: Open from 10 am to 6 pm, with last entry at 5 pm.
