Windsor Castle Tickets
Descrizione
Experience the grandeur of Windsor Castle while immersing yourself in its rich history as you stroll through its halls and gardens.
Why Visit Windsor Castle?
The world-famous wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took place within these walls, drawing countless visitors to witness the site of the last royal wedding. However, the castle has much more to offer beyond its association with the modern monarchy.
Your visit can commence at The Savill and Valley Gardens, each revealing a unique character. Nestled amidst over 1000 acres, this peaceful retreat features vibrant flora with the River Thames gracing its boundary. With a bit of luck, you might even spot some deer in the gardens!
Once you step inside the fortress, prepare to be captivated by the stunning State Apartments. Admire the elaborate ceiling paintings before proceeding to the Queen’s Mary Dolls’ House, which is currently not open to visitors.
Depending on your day of visit, you might witness the Change of Guard at St. George’s Chapel and take time to explore its exquisite interior. The chapel’s striking Gothic architecture sets it apart from other chapels, showcasing soaring ceilings and historic flags that echo the era of Henry VIII.
