Your adventure begins at 2 pm with a pickup from your accommodation in Yellowknife, as we make our way to the serene shores of the Great Slave Lake. In the winter months, this vast body of water transforms into a solid expanse of ice, giving rise to the renowned Ice Road.

As we traverse this extraordinary winter trail, which is only accessible from December to April, you will have the opportunity to walk, drive, and even lie down on the icy surface. Along the way, admire the traditional boat houses that line the shores and immerse yourself in the rich customs of the residents who call this picturesque region home.

Your journey proceeds to the enchanting snow castle, an impressive structure built directly on the Ice Road. This seasonal monument showcases a unique design each year and is available for exploration only during the winter months.
