Details of the Tour

At the designated hour, we will gather at Plaça de s'Esplanada, directly in front of the BBVA branch. Our adventure will commence as we navigate through sites that showcase the heritage of British rule on the island.

We’ll wander along the vibrant Carrer Moreres and pause in front of the Teatro Principal of Mahón, recognized as the oldest opera house in Spain. Continuing along Hannover Street, where the Anglo-Saxon architectural styles adorn many facades, we will make our way to the city center.

Our next stop will be the Town Hall and the magnificent Church of Santa María, where we will uncover the reasons behind Mahón's importance as a strategic port in the Mediterranean. Following this, we will visit the Museum of Menorca, a former Franciscan convent that now houses elements of Talayotic culture and local heritage.

To get a sense of daily life in Menorca, we will explore the Fish Market and the Claustro del Carmen. This neoclassical cloister features a delightful local market and is located next to the stunning Church of El Carmen.

Our journey will culminate at Miranda Square, a scenic viewpoint offering breathtaking panoramic vistas of Mahón Harbor, recognized as the second-largest natural harbor globally. It's an ideal location to conclude the tour and capture a memorable photo of the city.

After a two-hour experience rich with history and insights, we will finish at this picturesque viewpoint.
