Day Trip to the Ebro Delta & Boat Tour

Our adventure begins at 3:30 pm at the Peñíscola Tourist Office, conveniently located by the beach. We will embark on a one-hour journey to the stunning natural landscapes of the Ebro Delta, known for its unique features that we will explore by boat!

Once we reach the natural park, we will board our vessel and kick off a 50-minute tour around Buda Island. Along the way, we will share insights about the geographical aspects of this impressive reserve. You’ll learn that the wetlands are abundant with crustaceans, which play a significant role in local cuisine. We'll also unveil intriguing historical details about the island and the origins of its name.

As we navigate through the sprawling rice fields, you will gain insights into how these traditional farming practices function. Keep your eyes peeled for a variety of birds, including flamingos, herons, and seagulls.

Following our boat excursion, we will make a brief stop at the Ecomuseum to deepen our understanding of the Delta del Ebro's conservation significance.

We will conclude our trip with the return to Peñíscola, arriving around 7:30 pm.
