Evening Exploration of Chiang Mai's Temples

This half-day tour at sunset begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Chiang Mai, leading us into an exploration of the city's most breathtaking temples during one of the most enchanting times of day.

Following a brief drive, we will reach our first destination: Wat U-Mong. This 700-year-old temple, established in 1297, is renowned for its fascinating underground passageways and tranquil forest surroundings. Visiting in the late afternoon provides the added benefit of fewer visitors and stunning vistas.

During our time here, we will navigate through the underground tunnels of Wat U-Mong, appreciate the charm of the temple grounds, and take in the serene atmosphere offered by the surrounding forest. Many believe that the trees here share wisdom with those who walk past.

After our exploration, we will proceed to Doi Suthep Temple, home to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Here, you will witness a breathtaking sunset illuminating the ornate structures in a remarkable display—be sure to capture the moment on your camera! At this adorned temple, located atop a 309-step staircase, we will enjoy unparalleled views of Chiang Mai as night falls.

As dusk approaches, you’ll have the chance to participate in a traditional monk ceremony at the Golden Pagoda, providing a genuine taste of Thai culture!

Concluding our 4.5-hour journey, we will return you to our initial meeting point. We look forward to seeing you again!
