At the scheduled time, a vehicle will collect you from your hotel in Ushuaia and transport you to the trailhead. Upon arrival, you will be provided with a 6-kilogram (13.3 lb) pack containing all necessary packrafting gear.

After gearing up, we will embark on an easy 40-minute hike covering approximately 3 kilometers (1.86 miles). This trek will take us through the lush forests and peatlands of Tierra del Fuego. The hike concludes at the shores of Mariposa Lake, where we will prepare our packrafting boats.

Rather than the conventional rafting experience with a group, this adventure focuses on individual paddling in your own inflatable boat. To begin, we'll spend an hour practicing our rowing skills on the tranquil waters of the lake.

Following our practice, we will embark on packrafting down the Olivia River. This initial segment of the journey, lasting one hour, will take us to a river beach where the Esmeralda Lake stream converges with the Olivia River. Here, we will take a moment to savor a satisfying lunch featuring a homemade meat or vegetarian sandwich, cereal bars, alfajores, fruit, and chocolates.

After a restful break, we will set off on the river once again. This second phase will last for an hour and will allow us to explore a delightful path lined with native trees and bushes on either side of the water.

We will conclude this section of our packrafting adventure in a tranquil segment of the river, where a vehicle will meet us for the ride back to Ushuaia. We anticipate returning to your hotel about 5 hours after the initial pickup.
