How does it work?

This tour will take you on foot through the key sights of the capital of the island, including the iconic municipal market. You'll have the chance to taste local products like roasted peanuts, exotic fruits such as cimbron, barneda , and the renowned fig from Chã das Caldeiras.

Your journey will continue at Casa Djarfogo, where you'll indulge in famous savoury pastries, including fanana, batanguinha , and fritada. Additionally, a visit to Maria Augusta bakery will allow you to try the legendary queijadas and sample the popular Fogo goat cheese, accompanied by an infusion of tea made from local plants.

At midday, the tour culminates with a delicious lunch in a local restaurant, featuring typical dishes such as totoco, djagacida , and, of course, the unforgettable Fogo wine. Cheers!
