Canyon of the Lost Day Tour

Your journey begins between 6 and 7 am when we collect you from your accommodation in Ica. Are you ready? Let's embark!

Our first destination will be the central square, Plaza de Armas in Ocucaje, where you will encounter the notable monuments of the shark, the farmer, and the fighting cocks.

Next, we’ll visit a nearby restaurant for breakfast and the chance to purchase snacks for the journey ahead.

Following this, we will proceed to the Cañón de los Perdidos or Canyon of the Lost. Our initial stop here will be at a viewpoint offering striking vistas of this unique geological structure.

Continuing our exploration, we will delve into the natural sanctuary of the Canyon of the Lost. After a brief overview of its formation, you will have the opportunity to capture photographs at the canyon's entrance. A leisurely walk along the canyon's edge will allow for sightings of a variety of native wildlife, including owls, black vultures, and lizards, at the confluence of the Ica and Seco rivers.

Before concluding our visit, there will be time for a lunch at a local restaurant. Additionally, we will stop by a winery to taste traditional offerings such as pisco, wine made from pisco, and pisco cream.

In the end, we will make our way back to Ica, aiming to arrive at the main square between 3 and 4 pm.

Pickup Information

This trip includes pickup services from hotels located in central Ica. If your accommodation is situated further from the city (like Hotel Hacienda San Juan, Viñas Queirolo, Hotel La Caravedo, or Hotel Bodega El Huarango, among others), we will arrange for you to be picked up at Plaza de Armas in Ica.
