Day 1: Departure from La Paz to Uyuni

Our journey begins at 8 PM on Avenida Uruguay in La Paz, where we will board a bus destined for Uyuni. During the overnight trip, dinner will be served, allowing you to relax while we make our way to our destination.

Day 2: Exploring Uyuni

Upon our arrival in Uyuni at approximately 7 AM, breakfast will be served at a local cafeteria. Following our meal, we will embark on a jeep tour to the famous Uyuni Salt Flat.

Our first stop will be the train cemetery, a unique location filled with abandoned 19th-century steam engines, perfect for capturing artistic photographs. Continuing our adventure, we will reach Uyuni Salt Flat and visit Colchani, where you will gain insight into the salt extraction process at a local iodization plant.

After this enlightening visit, we will traverse breathtaking landscapes, arriving at the Dakar monument and the Playa Blanca salt hostel. To culminate our day, we will visit Incahuasi Island, an extraordinary spot in the salt flats known for its towering giant cacti. We’ll enjoy a stunning sunset while taking a leisurely stroll around this natural gem.

Our day concludes with an overnight stay at a hostel in Uyuni.

Day 3: Uyuni to Huayllajara

Awake refreshed and ready for another day! After enjoying breakfast at the hostel, we will set out for the Colorada Lagoon. En route, we will visit the picturesque Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiacorta lagoons, the arid Siloli Desert, and the Stone Tree, an unusually shaped rock formation.

Lunch will be served at a restaurant in Paso del Inca, followed by our arrival at Colorada Lagoon around 4 PM. Keep your eyes peeled for flamingos! We will spend the night in a hostel located in the community of Huayllajara.

Day 4: Huayllajara to Uyuni via Salvador Dali Desert

After breakfast, we will depart for Sol de Mañana, renowned for its impressive volcanic activity. Our expedition will also include a visit to the Chalviri Hot Springs and the Salvador Dali Desert, known for its stunning multicolored rock formations. We will conclude our day with views of the Verde and Blanca Lagoon and the Lincancabur volcano, located near the border with Chile.

After a day filled with awe-inspiring sights, we will return to Uyuni, where you can relax on the bus during our journey back to La Paz.

Day 5: Arrival in La Paz

After an overnight bus ride, we will arrive back in La Paz around 6:30 AM.

• Uyuni: Hostel Agencha or a similar option featuring double or triple rooms with private bathrooms.
