We will meet at number 9 of Plaza de España at the scheduled time and stroll to the largest palace in Western Europe.

The tour will commence with an introduction to the history of the Royal Palace, originally a residence for Spanish monarchs, built in the 18th century on the site of the former Habsburg Alcazar, which was destroyed by a fire on Christmas Eve 1734.

As we explore the main rooms, you will be fascinated by the décor within the Official Rooms, used for State receptions of high diplomatic importance.
