Burmester Winery Visit & Tasting

Delve into the tradition of Port wines during this visit to the Burmester winery. You'll taste their wines accompanied by an expert enologist guide, making it an excellent tour for wine enthusiasts.

Tour Details

We'll meet at the selected time at the entrance of the Burmester winery, a renowned winery in Vila Nova de Gaia. The guided tour will cover the production of Port and Douro DOC wines.

The guide, a wine expert, will discuss the history of Henry Burmester, the founder who was key in exporting these wines across Europe. We'll also explore important qualities of the wines produced at Burmester since the 18th century.

The visit lasts a total of 30 minutes plus the time allocated for the tasting experience.

Tasting Experiences

When booking, you can choose from three tasting options:

• Tasting of 2 different wines: taste two different wines at the end of the visit.
• Tasting of two reserve wines, cheese, and biscuits: enjoy two reserve wines paired with cheese and biscuits at the end of the tour.
• Tasting of 3 wines and chocolate: taste three different wines accompanied by chocolate.
• Tasting of 3 premium wines, chocolate, and cheese: enjoy three superior quality wines, chocolate, and cheese at the end of the visit.

Children Under 18

Children aged 6 to 17 will receive orange juice, with no food included. Children under 6 will not be charged for any drink during the free visit.
