Sayán & Churin Day Trip

At the designated time, our team will collect you from your selected pickup point in Lima, commencing our journey north towards Sayán.

Known as the land of alfajor, this town offers a fascinating history that we'll share during a guided exploration of Sayán. Major highlights will include the main square, the Church of San Jerónimo, and the residence of the esteemed liberator José de San Martín.

Continuing the adventure, we'll make our way to Churín, stopping at the entrance to this area to delve into the mysteries of the Mamahuarmi Cave. Here, we'll discover the captivating legend of Princess Shumac while we navigate this enchanting site.

Upon our arrival in Churín, we will tour a fish farm before allowing time for you to enjoy your lunch at leisure. Afterward, a guided tour of Churín will introduce you to its central square, the historic colonial church from the 16th century, and the monument to Mamahuarmi. You will have time for shopping and picking up local souvenirs.

We will conclude our day with a visit to the Tingo Thermal Complex, located just a short distance from Churín. The hot springs here are rich in sulphur, iron, and lithium, ideal for alleviating conditions like rheumatism and arthritis, as well as providing skin purification. You will have the opportunity to unwind in the natural pools.

After a day filled with exploration, we’ll head back to Lima, ensuring you return to your original meeting point around 10 pm.
