Did you know that Campo Elíseo stands out as the sole winery in the Rueda D.O. region harnessing the fermentation of its white wines within 17th-century underground cellars? Furthermore, the harvesting of their white grapes occurs solely during daylight hours and by hand. Welcome to this historical establishment located in the province of Valladolid!

Situated in La Seca, Bodegas Campo Elíseo elegantly merges a journey back in time with a progressive perspective on modern winemaking, reflecting the deep-rooted heritage of wine in the area. Here, the terroir plays a key role in the traditional winemaking practices upheld by the winery.

The winery has diligently restored its 17th-century underground galleries to cultivate wines 10 meters (39 feet) below ground, a project initiated by Francois Lurton in the 1990s. These cellars maintain ideal climatic conditions that are conducive to producing high-quality organic wines.

During our visit to these La Seca wineries, we will discover a range of onsite offerings, all enhanced by the unique character of its facilities, the subterranean cellars, and surrounding vineyards. Furthermore, the production is deliberately limited, with only 170,000 bottles crafted annually.

This option allows us to explore the historic 17th-century manor situated over 10 meters (39 feet) underground, alongside a visit to the Campo Elíseo Cellars. To culminate this experience, we will enjoy a tasting of three wines from the Lurton Brothers range.

Winery and vineyard tour + 3 wine tastings and cheeses (2 hours)

If you opt for this choice, we will begin our journey within the Campo Elíseo vineyards, where we can delve into the early stages of the winemaking journey. Following this, we will head to the historic manor to uncover the mysteries of the underground cellars.

To conclude our experience, we will partake in a delightful sampling of 3 wines from the Curvée Alegre range complemented by a selection of cheeses.

Winery and vineyard tour + 5 wine tastings and Iberian ham (2.5 hours)

If a more extensive wine tasting experience appeals to you, this selection is perfect. In addition to touring the vineyards, historic house, and cellars, we will finish with a tasting featuring 5 wines from the Campo Elíseo range paired with exquisite Iberian ham.
